  • so many people are doing "Pilates" how is anyone to know who to learn from? since I would like to learn Pilates maybe you could tell me. I didn't see what was wrong with this exercise other than that you said it isn't Joseph's design. I also didn't understand your instructions above. Maybe you would like to write a book?

  • I'm sorry, these are incorrect. These videos on youtube are aggravating. You guys are bastardizing joseph pilates workouts and calling it pilates because it's on the machine he invented. Chin to chest, pull the shoulders away from neck toward waist, push center of shoulder blades and sternum toward ceiling, tuck top of hips upward, tuck tailbone toward ground, dig into heels, and continue to focus on the stomach doing bulk of work to make movement.

  • Do you have to use a light resistance?

  • ok , now i know what to correct, i was was forgetting to engage at the bottom of the ribcage, and arching my lumbar.
