IGN sat down with some of the team from Namco for an hour of SoulCalibur V fights in this special livestream. Everything else looks good. The only thing that is bothering me is that there are alternate versions of Sophitia's kids and 3 mimic characters. Well, I don't mind Edge Master but 2 EXTRA MIMIC CHARACTERS? 2 EXTRA PYRRHA AND PATROKLOS? I'm thinking Namco didn't give Project Soul enough time to complete this game. Judging by the character selection, it just looks rushed. I'll still play it. Since there are a few characters missing...put Talim in and PLEASE! NO MIMIC CHARACTERS.

@MissKairi101 I hear that Project Soul is saving some of the good stuff for future DLC so I wouldn't worry about the characters just yet. I'm sure we'll see our cute little wind princess soon if enough fans want her back!

@TheO416 Yeah it's sad. :( Maybe they might release her and other DLCS in the future. That's my guess. I'm glad my brother didn't get this. He would hate to see how much this game is lacking. I'm not even planning on getting it myself but it depends if Namco will fix the problems by releasing DLCs :/

Removing characters is NOT ok. and by the way, I really enjoyed IV. Siegfried vs Nightmare is SOOOO MUCH BETTER than fucking Pyrrha vs Patroklos.

AND they shouldnt make like ultimate hits easy. in SC II they were loooong combo's difficult to master

maxi always was one of the annoying opponents, speeds and guard breaking true. raphael dont know if he is still in it. was as good or better cause of extended range, and talim had lots of quick long combo's with guard breaking. so my vote goes for talim... BUT THEY TOOK HER OUT :|

I have this game now, and I have a few complaints: First off, there does not seem to be any sign of Setsuka or Talim. (Why remove chars?) Second, the items in the creation menu do not allow you to customize the way you could back in SC4. They look pretty, but don't actually DO anything for your character. That seems like a step backwards to me. Third, they dumbed down Ivy to the point where she apparently does not have her stances anymore. Just WTF NAmco!?
