Last ride up at Johnson Valley before we packed up and left. i finally got the batteries all charged up and the camera set almost right on my helmet. close enough. order goes as follows from back to front: me in back on the WR with the camera, Ben (big guy on the YZ), Aunt Sally, Brooke, and Crystal in the Rhino, my brother Eric on the other WR with the yellow flag, cousin Dillon on the red quad, and Uncle Luie on the pink quad in front. slower ride than usual, but pretty fun, seeing as it was nice and windy and tricky on a bike at times.

  • By any chance could you tell me where you guys camped at me and a couple of buddies are thinking about heading out there for the first time maybe for a weekend were from the San Bernardino area just trying to find out what the best spots are out there

  • @702dirtrider This is near Soggy Dry Lake. We camp at the "Rockpile", which is a mile or 2 away from the actual dry lake bed. I'll send you a message showing how to get there from San Bernardino.

  • Going to slow in the soft stuff sucks on a bike. Looks like you were all having fun though.

  • wasn't too soft, and it's nice to have the power to pull out of it.

but yeah we were all having fun.

  • @1990BayBoy I drilled it smooth with a drill bit, and checked the helmet afterwards. the helmet's safe

oh and you're welcome, thanks for the +1

  • LMAO!!!!! hahaha yea lets just drill a hole in a helmet that protects you. lol +1 for the laugh.!!

  • hey thanks. it's not even a helmet cam, it's just a Kodak Z1085 IS, a point and shoot. it costs around $200, maybe less now, and i put it on the helmet with a mini bendy tripod. i just bent the legs around the front of the helmet and wah, lah, helmet cam. i would make a video showing it, but the puppy broke the tripod lol. so now i just drilled a screw through the top of my helmet and screw on the camera.

  • hahaha half way through the video i noticed that ive ridden on that same trail

  • where did you get your helmet cam and whats its name/cost?

ive been really intrested in getting them but most videos of them are crap quality, yours is amazing

im a johnson valley rider ^_^
