An HIV diagnosis is NOT a death sentence. When a person is diagnosed with HIV, it's impossible to predict precisely what the course of that individual's infection will be. Some people diagnosed early in the epidemic did not progress to clinical AIDS and are still alive today. In the developed world, the median time between initial infection with HIV and the development of clinical AIDS symptoms may be as long as ten years. But averages say little about what a particular individual's experience will be. People can also make wise choices that will improve their chances of living a long, healthy life. If an HIV positive person follows their doctor's instructions, including the use of antiretroviral medications where appropriate, they may be able to prevent HIV from progressing to clinical AIDS for years, decades, or possibly for the rest of their life. If you don't know your status, get tested. Early diagnosis and treatment can save your life. Visit http://www.AIDSvideos.org/ for more.

Hypnotic to say the least. It's all on the voice tone, the convincing eyes and the doctor's coat. Q: Why are intern doctors forced to work nonstop for days (72 hours and more)? a) To make feel better about the $375 that you are going to pay for two aspirin. b) To give them an excuse to treat you as cattle. c) To provide a cover for mediocrity and malpractice. d) To create the conditions for a self inflicted brainwashing from which they emerge believing to be God. continues...
There's no guarantee that people who are HIV+ will die of AIDS before they would have passed away otherwise. Obviously, on average, it shortens your life expectancy, but if you follow your doctor's advice and take medications as prescribed if necessary, the averages may not apply to you.
Dr. Kuhn and I would both be the last people in the world to suggest that HIV/AIDS can't kill you. We've stated that AIDS can be fatal in numerous videos and encouraged people to do everything they can to avoid contracting or transmitting HIV accordingly. We're simply pointing out in this video that HIV isn't an immediate or guaranteed death sentence, that people who are HIV+ should assume they're guaranteed to die of HIV, and they should work with their doctor to fight it.
