Then again, seems like he could have dropped a gear, compression braked and then steered with the rear. After looking at the video again.....unless there was a sharp slow bend out of the camera angle, to the left.....he probably could have made this turn a number of ways, that do not include touching the rear brake.....stay off the rear brake.....disconnect the damn thing if need be.....

Looks like he exited late and hot on previous turn, target fixated and froze for a second and missed good entry lines. Tough to judge whats happening from the camera angle. I agree, he stayed with the bike, so he isn't a complete hack. Maybe he was having a bad day.

@lespaulr6 Actually, no. Watch the video at 0:18 and pay attention to his front tire. He braked way too hard and locked up the front which didn't allow him to turn.
