@giantpumpkinsNZ Yeah, thats something I was thinking about doing was, talking to some local store owners for displays. Its still so ridiculous to me that, just one tiny little seed can produce a pumpkin well over a 1000 lbs... I dont know I would even move a giant that gets to be a couple hundred pounds. haha. Well, good luck to you and your garden this year!

what works bets for shade is if you put an old bed sheet over it so you dont cover the leaves and shade the leaves so it growes better :) good luck

Hey, nice video... Im gonna try growing mostly Conn. Field pumpkins this year, and some Dill Atlantic Giant's....( this is my first year being real serious with this stuff, and I've been researching everything I can) I know the Conn. Fields can sell good since they are good for carving, but I was curious to ask you, is there a market for big pumpkins that reach over 100+ pounds? I never hear of anyone selling them, and I was just wondering if people ever look to buy these giants? lol.

@jm8907 Hiya, over here in NZ we don't normally sell them, but some people give them to stores and shops as displays. I know if you can grow one over 1000 pounds, especially in the USA, you have a high chance of selling it to someone.

Hey man I wanted to plant a giant pumpkin this year and was wondering how much space I need can you help me out?

@DrummingScess Hiya, the bigger the better, but as you can see in that video I managed to grow in quite a small area, no matter what the size, as long as the soil is good, and you know it is only dirt below, it should be all good. Check out my site to see what I am up to this season.
