I Must say well done I seriously have no clue how you guys did this. I Own a small amount of newer and older martin gear useing both Exculusively Martin's Protocol, a Mixture of that and DMX and only DMX. Just wished the RoboScans were lighter. Just wondering how did you do the projection starting at 2:40 of the MAC 1200 ive watched this that many times but i cant figure it out?????

  • @martin0mac2000

The MAC 1200 shadow was made like this25 feet behind the white curtain there was a MAC 1200 and 50 feet from the curtain was a PAL 1200.

Very simple, but requires a lot of space behind.

  • Awsome programming. Why have I never even seen one of these fixtures? I wonder. May I ask how long it took to programme?

  • @mightyonion

    Thanks!

This fixture was only in production for a short time.

Due to many design flaw it was replaced with the MAC 600.

It took about 48 hours to program this show with two programmers.

  • Nice use of Framing Shuters!

  • Thanks! And no FX engine on that controller, just many sequences running together...

  • What's the song that starts roughly at 2:20 and ends at about 3:35?

  • That is easily one of the most incredible sights i've ever seen in my life...

It must have been absolute hell to program all that with a 3032 Controller, before computer control really came along much.

You mentioned design flaws that led to its replacement in a previous comment, if i may ask, what were some of those?

I've been trying to hunt some of these (Along with Pal 1200's) down on ebay for some time... No luck lol

  • Well done :)

  • @PaulP514 ah very simple indeed uve got one hell of a memory. u guys did this like 14 years ago

  • @alexxj220 It looks like they have used many different lights fro mthe Martin arsonal at the time. there features multiple Mac 1200 Units that use thier Iris's and frameing shutters and it looks to be many RoboScan's along the back and some RoboColour's mounted in the trussing.

  • well there lights are really good quality
