The customer did all the importing himself so i don't know. the conversion was a complete straight bolt in with no mods to the van. This van is for sale now.

i was just in the UK where i drove Vauxhall Insignia with the 2.0L 16V C-TDI 160 HP motor with a 6 spd manual. wow what a car. all the power/torque you could ever want. torque from 1200 rpm in 6 gear no problem. not driven the new VW yet.

yes we sure can, no problem. just the way you hook up your pressure tube to the pump instead of Vacuum

Which Pump-components did you used to build a mechanical 5-cylinder-pump?

The older mechanical TD-pumps have no flywheel and a smaller shaft than the electronic TDI-pumps.

So what have you done to use the TDI-shaft in an TD box?

how much did it cost to import the syncro system from the UK? was it hard to mate to a non syncro body?
