The point of the story is about a woman pouring perfume on Jesus’ feet, and the lesson the disciples learnt from this is about devotion to Jesus first and foremost before other important priorities. This is not about religion.

@ucancallmebaby1 My friend religion is religion I am not a religious person ! i have just a simple faith. love the lord thy GOD with all your heart mind and soul. I try and live that life on a day to day bassis.Sure i make mistakes but because christ died for my sins i am covered by his blood.In general RELIGION cant except this they want you to do something in your own strength. The bible says we are saved by grace through faith and not by any good works. The poor will always be among us.
