  • 1:08 I didn't literally just get off of smash 64, I got off of a futon 5 minutes away from the venue after VANS called and told me to come to the venue, and I think I went back to that futon after this match

    1:16 I never used the c-stick

  • I didn't know you could unlock Sandbag as a playable character.

  • lol @ people who like this

  • good thing isai wasn;t in crews. we would have been raped.

  • When Isai sandbags, he means it.

  • @Th3xUnkn0wn He can actually still hold his own, even in today's metagame. Watch him and S2J playing in the doubles bracket at Genesis 2. He just doesn't care about Melee anymore, and we all need to respect that.

  • Anyone who thinks Isai CAN'T keep up with today's metagame needs to watch him and S2J playing in the doubles bracket at Genesis 2. He could easily get back into the game if he wanted to. He just doesn't want to. As much as I want to see him return to Melee, we as a community need to respect his decision and maybe work on preserving the videos of the matches that he did give us when he played the game, as well as making sure his contribution to the metagame in its early days is never forgotten.

  • @MevseC Isai, I'm sorry that you were asked to play against your will like this. It's part of being you, I guess. I hope it doesn't offend you. It just means is that we love you so much that we'd like nothing better than to see you play seriously again, even if it was just one match. Hell, even as I sit here defending your right to play only the game that you have fun playing, I'm glad I got to see you playing with S2J in doubles at Genesis 2.

Also, thanks for signing my T-shirt then =D

  • Does no one know that Isai plays SSB64 almost exclusively?

When was it since he retired from competitive Melee? 2007/2008?

You can tell he's rusty as hell in this match, which probably transitioned to indifference later on.

  • trolliest match in smash history.

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT? LOL

  • LOL not surprised he did this at all haha it's just funny that he couldn't play ONE game of Melee seriously, AND he got 2nd place at the game that he was supposed to be the greatest in the world at. Too funny Isai, too funny.
