The Berlingo sleeping platform is held in by straps, it is easily removed and the rear seats replaced in a few minutes. The car is not modified in any way. With the front seats moved forward and the bed extension fitted the bed platform is 1.85M.

Why didn't you buy a van instead, you wouldn't need to make a flat wooden floor in the back then.....

The kit is stored under the platform, keeps things tidy. I would do the same in a van

you certainly couldn't put this in your a3 or 1 series

True, but the Berlingo Multispace is really a delivery van with windows init so loadsa space.

Hi, I've had my Berlingo since June 2012 and I'm hoping to do something similar to mine.

As to the comment about getting a van - I looked at buying a useful van, but the insurance groups make it less economical so I plumped for the Bertie!
