Excellent!!!!! Thanks for making this available, A relatively expensive test and thus one that Joe average isn't likely to do for himself. THANKS!!!!

Would make a good stew afterwards!

They say that the pig's tissue and bone mass is closest to human for testing purpouses. Great video, keep 'em coming.

I believe the extra expansion can be attributed to the lack of denim covering the pork shoulder, the addition of a plastic bag or a combination of the two... If you look at the ammo tests by Dr. Roberts on AR15.com, you see a deviation between the two test types - fired into bare gel, the recovered rounds are consistently larger in diameter than the rounds fired through denim.

@SullyAwesome I don't disagree there. I mainly was surprised at the expansion, because most have said water jugs typically always yield the largest expansion when used as test media, and in this case, my pork shoulder had more expansion.

Interesting test. I'd like to see more like this. I found it interesting that the HST expands more in actual tissue than it does through ballistic gel or water. These would definitely ruin a bad guy's day. Would like to pick up some of the 147 grain 9mm.

@Troacoli I plan to test the 9mm and 40 as time allows. Next I'd like to try some of the 5.56 75Gr Tap loads..
