Bought a pair of 1883 a couple months ago. I'd only worn heavier, work western boots before, and I was surprised at how light the Lucchese were. At first, I didn't like the difference, but I have to say that after wearing them for a few weeks, I'm amazed at the fit and comfort--thanks!
got me some caiman 1993 boots by Lucchese last year and i absolutley love'em. cost a buncha money but wow.... they look so damn good and are COMFORTABLE.
LIARS!! they absolutely do not make wide boots for women. marlboro paid them for my boots but my certificate is useless. I called the factory about sizing and even though they are making the boots only after the cert comes in, they will not make a boot that would come close to fitting me. not even with an upcharge. they offered to let me pay $600 and up to get a different style but what a joke- those boots would not fit me either. something very fishy going on.........
