"love in the time of global warming (part two)" live @ studio 11082009

this is "love in the time of global warming (part two)".

notice that the video quality is not nearly as good as the video of "love in the time of global warming (part one)" that i also posted today. the videos are taken one right after another, so the guitar tone sounded identical there in the studio. however, before starting this video i switched the video mode on the camera to lower quality. man! the quality really is a lot worse!

anyway, the speakers in all the amps at the rinky dink studio in nakano are all in pretty terrible condition. this song really requires a crystal clear tone for the subtler part, and some kind of compression for the big riff at the end. as is, you can't even distinguish between the two most important chords of that riff. it's a bit worrying, man. the solution, of course, is to buy my own orange rockerverb 120 and a 4x12 speaker cabinet. the problem would be, uhh, carrying it.
