  • thanks!!!! ill be calling soon to put in an order you guys make the sickest bikes i have ever seen !!!!! have you ever shipped a complete bike or do i have to come out to colorado to pick it up ? either way i want one bad

  • thanks man, we have some guy s that wull deliver the bike for a reasonable price. give us a ring any time.

  • whats tops speed on one of these ?

  • if you google "xs650 top speed" some specs come up saying 106mph. That is a stock bike weighing in at around 500lbs. We drop 100-150lbs when we bob them out. But, I dont know if I would really wanna go over 100 on one of these!

  • how much would that exact same XS cost for you to buld again? except maybe with a solo springer seat?? what would I have to do to start an order with your shop?

  • Just give us a shout at the shop at 719-550-0096 and we can give you an accurate quote and get the ball rolling on your build. thanks! G&L Choppers - Colorado Springs, CO.

  • Do you have baffles in the bike or is that stright?

  • what size wheels and tires and long is the rake

  • you shipping the bikes to germany ??

  • cool bike,i love the kick start and springer front end.

  • how do you get the yamaha engines

because yamaha doesn't do this model anymore :S

  • this brings back memories , my barracks mate built a Yamaha 650 chopper in San Diego around 1976 and I bought a 650 special in 1978. What damn good bikes these were !! 5*****

  • at 85 mph you wont feel anything unless the tire is rubbing the fender hard and your sitting directly bareass on the fender itself. radial tires dont flex as much as biasplys, and the back fender on my bobber is that close or closer. the amount of wind flowing around your back fender and back wheel at that speed is much more than you think.

  • ive done over 100 on a kawi with stock front geometry and a hardtail and lemme tell ya, i wouldnt want to go over 100 on one either! if you want speed get a sport bike. choppers are all about the ride.

  • very nice, saw the feature on G&L in the horse, very similar to what im doing except im just starting out, i have no frame jigs (haha makes life interesting) and i work off of KZ650s when i can find em. love this bike in particular.

  • see that fender is way to close to that tire it generates way to much heat there at 85mph i bet he feels his butt get real hot
