I can't even begin to explain how amazing these two are.
Carter's a two-year-old Arabian-Quarter Horse that has had minimal human contact before Lindsay came into his life. Having never trained a horse in her life, in less than three months, she halter trained him, saddled him, got him to accept the bit, has ridden him, and much more.
Lindsay has gotten a lot of criticism about her first horse being so young and it was getting to the extent where she doubted herself and Carter. I know from experience that second guessing yourself is never fun, especially when it's something that means so much to you.
I guess I guess all I'm trying to say is that Lindsay's kind of a hero. She looked passed all the judgment and, even though the odds seemed up against her, she's ending up with a magnificent horse. And I'm proud to call her my best friends.
