Purgatorio was choreographed by George Alley of Alley Ink Dance and performed on April 01-02 2004 at Conwell Theatre, Temple University Philadelphia, PA
Purgatorio was inspired by three separate tales of a living person entering the realm of the dead: Metamorphoses, The Divine Comedy and Twin Peaks.
Each one of these stories was written almost 1000 years apart from each other yet they contain alarming similarities.
