Fantasia Barrino reportedly welcomed baby Dallas Xavier, her second child and first son, Tuesday at a North Carolina hospital.
Dallas logged in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces and 21 inches, the singer's rep confirmed to People. Radar Online had reported Monday that she'd gone into labor.
Fantasia, who was due Dec. 29, told TV host Wendy Williams in October that she was home on bed rest.
"I feel so blessed that my son, Dallas Xavier, was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family," the 27-year-old told People through a rep.
Though Fantasia has been mum about the identity of Dallas' dad, she has been linked on and off to Antwaun Cook, who has been separated from his wife, Paula, since September 2009. The singer and the former T-Mobile employee reportedly met in August of that year.
