I know this is a month late and all, but yeah, I was sort of hoping they would have done the same. =/ I think it would have been better with a sad ending especially after what Bravo did...

@Noureddin91 As a side note, Watsuki never intended Buso Renkin to be about any of that stuff. If you read the manga's chapter notes, he explicitly states that Buso Renkin is a story about first love. Only time he apparently ever considered an actual sacrifice in the series was Captain Bravo sacrificing himself against Hiwatari's attack.

I type too much know but I'm just saying that they should have stick to what they were doing and had him die with victor or something. And for people who think this is spoilers... Well... The people who seens the show know all this. People who have seen the ending and stuff know nothing of what I'm saying besides the name victor and the word death and such. Theirs no real such thing as spoilers with animes. Maybe movies cause they are 2 hours long but series are 10 hours+ as a guess.So, Yeah...

Only thing I was unhappy about is they pretty much didn't stick to the sad story. I thought it was going be him sacrificing himself for the whole world but they made him live unrealistically. When I say unrealistically I mean that it wouldn't end like that weather its giant robots, Laser beam, magic or anything other kind of world(or this case... anime)chances are. I mean saving your friends, yourself and the enemy? I mean really? They could have at leave made him and/or the enemy die.

@KatakiDoragon Yeah, Its being implied that they are kissing in other words. But, Its obvious they are. They mention it later on anyways when they mention "Giving Courage" or in other words a kiss. Like I said. I just recently finish the series. Nice series. But, Like I mentioned. I didn't like how they were acting like it was going to end like a sad story but it ends more then the opposite! I was going to cry in the sad part but when it went all good I actually smiled and was happy.

I also just finished the series. Also, I didn't say enough to ruin to the ending. You can watch the ending and it can still be nice. It almost made me cry on one of the 3 last episodes.

I actually heard that it end with Kazuki dying and such but in the end he lives but not only that but victor lives aswell and they both turn human. I got upset about that. I thought an anime I watch was going to end upsetting finally. They just made it seem like he died and then- Oh and he lives and its end the most happy way it could have been pretty much. I didn't want to spoiler but seriously! I don't mind happy endings but if you are going to act like he's going to die, make him die. Really!
