[part II] forgot to add - and yes, I've been to Melbourne and Cairns and these are nice modern and safe cities. But it was equally safe there before the ban. So "what place is safe" is NOT the question, in case you don't get it. the question is "does it get better when you ban guns" ? And all evidence says that it does not .

Just an observation - when one has facts and logic, he does not need to swear and be sarcastic. So when someone is cussing and being sarcastic - it means they have no good evidence and no good logic, other than "it is so because I want it to be so"

Some of them do, some of them don't. I travel their often and have folks from Down Under working with me all the time, and lots of them are brainwashed into a belief the government has to take care of everything, including schools cafeteria menu having healthy items. These folks consider self-defense and self-reliance and abomination, and expect someone to always take care of them.

That was exactly my point - your faith in gun control simply blinds you. As any other religion person, you simply KNOW you are right, no matter what the facts are. Common sense - with guns banned, bad people get guns illegally, or simply use other tools on defenseless victims. Statistics confirm that point of view.

Some places are safer due to people, not tools. Case in point - London was safer than NYC even when one could buy guns in London no question asked, and NYC already had a gun ban.
