@iouiu perhaps you should setup a parallel organisation that monitors israeli television and see if you come up with similar 'cherries'.
memri is not 'exposing' anything, they simply translate it for those of us who dont understand arabic. whats is wrong with that?

wait a minutes there. All MEMRI does, it records what already said by Arab & Muslims SAYING IT IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGE, right in the open to audiences.
Memeri is doing good job presenting the naked truth where the root of the Muslim-Jewish comes from. Since Muslims clerics rarely talk positive, and spend their time bashing Israelis, why should memri not expose it?

MEMRITV WANTS TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE JOB OF GIVING MUSLIMS A good image, IMPOSSIBLE. Hiding videos that expose the truth and all the public threats of Muslims towards others.

@the0extremos Proof?

Why you hate Memri TV? cause you´re a friggin muslim, that's why

Actually I watch every single video from Memri as I'm learning Arabic and many times they've featured Arab men and women, even Imams who speak out against terrorist behaviour. Also you'll find some of the (Arab) interviewers themselves will question someone who's talking craziness. It's not balanced for sure but it's not ALL negative, 70/30 I'd say.

you can claim they cherry pick but you cant deny that those videos are REAL.

Laughing when Syrian people kill each other is NOT Anti-Semitism!!!!

Memri TV is owned by kikes, just like most other US media. Memri TV always makes my day when I hear this muslims want to murder the dirty Jews. The Federal Reserve is a Jewish conspiracy, so you know who to thank when hyperinflation kicks in! Oh yeah, Jews did 9/11 : /watch?v=E5ALv-EbD0c

@iouiu You are in denial. In Syria and Palestine and in most parts of the Arab world, little children are raised from a young age taught to hate Jews as enemies , to have dark hearts against them because they are betrayers. This all comes directly from the Quran.
If you want the cycle of hate on all sides to end as much as I do, you know that shaming those who generate it cannot be done without understanding where and how the hatred is produced and distributed.
MEMERI is just exposing what muslims want to be hidden. It is as simple as that.

@alfekry Not really. If you have seen many of their videos you will see that many of them come from the popular Arabic language news and discussion channels in the Middle East. What they do however (apart from translating the Arabic) is cherry pick the most negative content/'sound bytes' from those channels and label them as "this is what they do not want you to hear" for the west. Basically my point is that Memri is just 'exposing' what is already widely available online and in the satellite.

Check out a very informative discussion about Memri on one of the best news channels in the world - Al Jazeera English. Skip to 11:30 mins into the video (youtube.com/watch?v=ZGEyOe2_fAE) if you don't want to get sit through John Pilger's interview about his new film on the history of propaganda.
I believe they (Al Jazeera English) did a very good and unbiased report... though thats my opinion and I hope you are able to come to your own opinion... just remember to keep an open mind.

Well here's an idea: Why dont you (the poster of the video) make a site that does the opposite: roams the Arab channels seeking positive, humane, logical, tolerant, egalitarian, democratic, peace loving, reasonable, balanced, and dialogue seeking excerpts from Arab TV. Sounds like a great idea to me. I, for one, will subscribe immediately.
Wonder why no one's never done it.

@smike53 Hey that's actually been done and is very successful. Check it out yourself at youtube.com/user/AlJazeeraEnglish. You will be surprised by their logic and the variety of news they cover. Anyway, as for me setting up a site and such. Sadly I do not have the resources (money) or the time to roam the Muslim media. But hey as I have said before in my comments, if you look at any country's or culture's or religion's media you are bound to find a handful of "crazies."
