Excellent par excellence. Extremely soul moving song. This is the ultimate. There is nothing beyond this. What a magnificent gesture of nature. The song writer is Shakeel Badyuni. The composer of this song is Naushad Ali and the singer of this song is Mohammed Rafi. All three were muslims and the ultimate is Lord Krishna. How wonderful. A magnificent tribute to Him by them. Naushad Sahib won the best music director award for this movie when the Filfmare awards were announced for the first time.

i love u rai ji
My eternally treasured song!
Sung with SO much fervor by Rafi, it reaches & transcends the heights of elation a Soul could experience on GETTING what it's been long Yearning for!... like the protagonist here, yearning for a "glimpse" of his Guru he reveres as close to Almighty in his perception as say, Meera to her attachment to Krishna,...& he GETS that glimpse! :)
Hmm, almost insinuating the POWER of earnest yearnings to lead to fruition of any Soulful Human Wish! How Utopian! :)

"Mann TaRpat Hari Darshan Ko Aaj."
Life might meet with it's end listening to this beautiful Bhajan. Good music composed by late Naushad is the outstanding feature of this Bhajan. It had to be, since it’s about the legendary 16th century singer and musician Baijnath "Baiju Bawra."
"Tumre dwaar ka main hooN jogi' "Hamri aor nazar kab hogi?"
Alfaz khatam ho jaate hain azizan-E-Mann, zindagi ke din bhi, lekin Parwar degaar ki taarif khatam nahin hoti. Thanks Ritu Jee for sharing.
