Most (but not all) hams that I know are just wierd, gross, and just plain annoying. Some of the guys remind me of child molesters.

The problem is, this video doesn't really emphasize the scary/creepy part of most hams. The conversations. The smell and sight of them is horrendous, where else can you see so many pairs of strained suspenders in one place, but the things they discuss!!! You need to record a bit of a 2m net or ANYTHING on 75meters or any of the other hick nets on HF. Those conversations will make you put a pistol in your mouth.

Well , as your film shows there definitely does seem to be a correlation with US hams and the excessive consumption of hamburgers.
Fortunately it's not like that my way , so it must be a geographic or cultural thing that you have going on over there.
The guy walking about with the manpack radio on , well , I just don't know what to say about that one ;-)
