Please use regular tap water at room temperature and the nail polish itself is important so experiment until you can find combinations that work together. Glitter polishes are tricky and the nail polishes must not be fast drying. For the natural nail please put Vaseline on your hands. Then wipe the nail clean with nail polish remover or alcohol. Then apply . The nail polish will attach to the finger as well so be ready with a cotton bud and nail polish remover to wipe it off. Google oceasia

does this technique work on non false nails like my natural regular nails if so how would it be done

Thanks for your comment. Yes, you can dip your nails into the cup instead of using a temporary tip. Note how I clear the residue from the water surface before I pull out the nail. That is a key step in the process. Google search "oceasia" because I have a step-by-step on the site. Just look for "marbling" in the list of contents. Thanks

i have, but the first drop always dries b4 i can get the other colours in

Other things to consider would be wind, temperature. Try to do it in an environment the least conducive to drying. Sometimes even breathing on it can cause drying.
If you get a chance please google "oceasia".
thanks,

Try to use nail polish that is not quick drying.
