Tulane University Peace Action Committee (TUPAC) is working as part of a national campaign to protect subcontracted workers on campus. Sodexo, a multi-billion dollar contractor hired by the university, keeps workers living in poverty. TUPAC wishes to establish a labor code of conduct at Tulane, requiring Sodexo to pay workers a living wage and supply affordable healthcare premiums.
informative video. I would love to ask that guy Brady Johnson how these people are supposed to pay for an education, when they are living below poverty line. He speaks like a naive person who has been educated, but not in the real world... to think that he is comparing a student summer job at a waterpark to Sodexo's full time employees, who are supporting their families while working at multi million dollar campuses is pathetic.
