Seeing things like this make me tear up. My family has always gotten purebred dogs from breeders, and last year I was able to get my own dog. I went to the local animal shelter and took home Nero, who had been sitting there for over a month waiting for the right person. He is the most loyal, loving dog I've ever met. Please get a dog from a shelter. They will never forget that you saved them.

I started bawling watching this. All my pets have been rescues. It's my favourite breed. No animal deserves to be abandonned, forgotten, or killed. Save a life & give a shelter animal a loving forever home they deserve.

I got my dobermen Roxy from a shelter. She was found INSIDE a dumpster when she was abandomed as a pup. Now she's living a happy life with my other dog Chevy the lab/pitbull. Even tho Roxy is crossed eyed (left eye) She's still my outside devil inside angel ♥

im a proud owner of a labrador, i adopted him 9 months ago when he was a 1 month puppy, now i have the most loyal living thing in my life, he is my best friend! we always go for a run on sundays and well i think he is living a happy life,

@easyitsashley that's so unbelievably naive. You really think you can keep up with owners and that it will stop them at some point possibly abandoning their dog to a shelter? And even then why would you want to breed dogs when there are so many sitting on death row in shelters that a decent owner could go and get instead? Until the stray and abandoned pet population is under control then any type of breeding is completely irresponsible. No excuses. You, like any other breeder, cause this.
