There will be a total lunar eclipse for all of North America the night of December 20 through the morning of December 21, 2010. Details about this and other eclipses can be found at http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/

We were able to photograph the December 21, 2010 eclipse! Some of the photos we took can be seen on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GikZlbsMwl0

  • I like your videos, but is your comedy at the end staged?

  • @DemolitionSkateboard Yes, the exiting 'comedy' bits are scripted.

  • @JeffersonLab when is the next eclipse again?

  • @DemolitionSkateboard As of today (11/18/2011), the next lunar eclipse will take place on December 10th. Asia and Australia are favored for this one. Visit the NASA website we mention in the video and have listed in the video description for details.

  • great video

  • Photos were successfully taken and are being edited now. Clouds interfered with most of the partial phase leading up to totality, but they broke up enough for us to catch most of totality and the partial phase exiting from totality.

  • ive seen it was so cool

  • @Roflshamans And I'm getting clouds rolling in... And, wow, is it cold out there!
