there are two glitches at work here. one is the press left and right simultaneously glitch.
The other one is the healer glitch caused by talking to a lady repeatedly before entering her house which messes up the connections all over the place, and is how the palace is reached so fast.

You know what they say... warping around too much will lead you to an early grave.

Pressing every other frame left and right causes this "fast-run" glitch. It is easy to do on an emulator.

This is one of the few Zelda games that gives me a hard time. I've had it for a couple years, and I am still stuck on the second dungeon. Why can't games today be this hard?
