Drink driving is a major road safety problem on New Zealand roads. Each year, over 40% of all alcohol-related crashes involve drunk drivers aged between 15-24 years.
The target audience for this campaign is young drunk-drivers and their mates (1524 year old males). Confronting young drinking drivers with the consequences of their actions, and with letting down their mates, is a way of influencing these drivers to change their behaviour.
don't drink and drive, or your mates will call you dave.
