You have the energy of a thunderstorm. Keep the awesome videos coming (you're prolific of late). ^_^
How do you make your intros? With blender?
-
@rayyanputra I doubt I will use anything else as I have ffmpeg working better than Kazam ever did...
-
@LinuxSpatry Ooo..that is annoying huh..have you tried the new Kazam? And also the new screencaster, Eidete? I am not sure about Eidete but AUR have Kazam in it..

@rayyanputra The rating system is flawed and easily abused by cyber-bullies. Therefore I have decided to discontinue using it until measures are in place to prevent misuse of the system.

Am new to Linux, but I got this from Ubuntu Software Center and it installed version 1.1.3. How can I upgrade to the latest version?

@WarriorTaurus Openshot's website has instructions for adding a PPA to your sources. You will then be able to upgrade the software.

Like Openshot, I have been usinfg pitivi for simple stuff and cinelerra for more complex stuff. But I see that OpenShot can be used for something in the middle.

@Jzarecta I never had a chance to try pitivi or cinelerra

@LinuxSpatry I do a lot of conferences, and I used cinelerra to have my slides blend with the original video of the presentation. I found cinelerra multitracker very useful, one big flaw however is their file format compatibility. While pitivi is very good on doing that, and I use it usually to replace sound from an original video. So if I do a version of my talk using my phone mic instead of video recording.

@Jzarecta It seems all Linux video editors have some form of kink in them... I am eagerly awaiting the port of Lightworks! This new software should bring world class editing to Linux!
