"Good Lovin'" is the #1 hit by the Rascals from their 1966 album "The Young Rascals". Originally, the song was performed by the Olympics but was only moderately successful reaching 81 on the Billboard Pop Singles Charts. The Rascals' rendition of the song is an amazing take on a wonderful song. A song full of energy, soul and rock and roll. I love the part where the music just STOPS altogether for a couple seconds...then goes HARD right back into the groove. No one can argue that this groove is where it's at. A timeless song by a timeless act!

  • These guys could all sing and play their own instruments. This is one of the classic rock songs of the the 60's. A lot of punch - a good pause- and then a crescendo of an ending. Good stuff. Their best song was probably "People Got to Be Free," but I feel good every time I hear this one.

  • another great band from the 60s....

  • A nice exciting beat. A very nice song. Sincerely,

An 11 year old who knows what good music really is.

  • @CornishCockney because music is for the ears and not the eyes, though somehow music makes you see the colors in the sky in a different way as well :) I <3 the rascals!

  • How did you get this uploaded without it being blocked for copyright issues? I did a drum cover of this tune and it got blocked worldwide.

  • The Rascals are what pop music was all about. Meaning. Feeling. Emotion. Today it's all about Marketing. Dancing. Autotuning. And hair. Speaking of hair, a couple of months ago, I was in Bleeker Street Records when Taylor Swift stood next to me poking through the vinyl records.

  • What a great group we were very lucky to have grown up in this era of music 60s 70s Great music Satilite Radio :) BG
