One of my favorite Wolf songs.74 was a great year for me. I had not heard or thought of the song for 32 years. Last night I just started singing it for no apparent reason. I had to find it.Not quite the same with the backup singers.If I can find the original, I will post it . Thanks so much for posting this.

Listen to Albert Hammond's (great) original, then listen to John Kay's. Gotta give it to JK for taking this awesome song to another level! This one - with the backup singers - is my favorite. I've been listening to the Slow Flux version for ages, but this one is the one I've been waiting since the '70s to hear again. Where can I buy it?

John was one of the most prolific writers of our time, or any time! Had the pleasure of meeting him at a NAMM show in early 90's. Got his autograph on his Rickenbacher poster. Highly treasured! Still have this album safely tucked away. Always been one of my very favorite Steppenwolf tunes!
