If you stay close to The Bible, you are not to be confused becaus God is not a God of confusion. Study yourself and do not ask either your pastor or a rabbi for guidance. FIRST read yourself and ask God to reveal his truth for you. If you don't care to study what your Creator and Saviour says to you, how can you defend yourself against false teaching? Neither Judaism (orthodox) nor Christianity tells you the Truth becaus of their additions and subtractions to the Word.Again, study!

  • @Yehudiim

In theory, yes. But messianic judaism is not one thing. Just been in Israel visisting two messianic congregations. One were very orthodox , judaism like. the other very christian - a more correct title of the followers of Yeshua which implies obeying all Gods Torah (as Yeshua did), is "Bible-believers". But every Christian calls himself a Bible believer (they don't see where mans tradition has mixed into the true Word), so titles are difficult matters. In Y's days they were th "Road"

  • @steveyboy500 You must understand that Yeshua did not take away anything of the Torah/Law, exept that he "took the sacrificial system on himself" when he became the faultless sin offering himself (read the letter to the Hebrews). Yeshua showed us the spirit of the Torah, not only the letter. Only when a person accept Yeshua as the Messiah, and goes to bapism as a covenant act with God, he will be given Gods Spirit in heart and then love also Gods Torah, Grace without Torah is self contradiction!

  • @1olddavid

True! Yeshua was a Jew and will come back as the Lion of Judah! He was the one that gave the Torah and lead the Israelites in the desert (1 Corinth 10:40). He lived the Torah, without fault, without breaking one commandment. He is the beauty of the Law/Torah! The pharisees hated him for braking THEIR commandments (Oral law tradition) and also for "doing good " even on the shabbath! He rebuked the pharisees for having destroyed the Torah and replaced it with their own traditions -

  • @Yehudiim Judaism, what is that today? If you mean the "Judaism" that Tanakh teaches, then yes. But if you mean Judaism as developed into orthodox traditionalism, what Yeshua called the "leaven of the Pharisees", then this is not to follow and it is not what the Bible teaches. It is also important to distinguish between Christianity and the teaching and life of the diciples. Christianity is not the teaching of them, althoug it of course have elements of it, often misinterpreted though.

  • @BARUCH248

If you know your tanakh, you will see that even if God is One, this "one" is a plural word in singulum. Like "family" is a singulum word but implies more people. Yeshua is not another god or an idol, he is the Word, the Torah, the right arm of God who has always been with God the Father. You will also see that in Heaven God is not alone! Why does he say: Let US create man in OUR image? God and Yeshua Messiah are one. If you know Tanakh truely, read also NT, just try!

  • @dcisive

Very true story. The true Road has 2 diches. One is talmudic, rabbinic Judaism, the other is Christianity with its roots in Rome instead of Jerusalem. The Road itself is based solely on the complete Bible, consisting of Tanakh (GT) and B'rit Hadashah (NT). The Tanakh teaches us Gods Torah (instruction and law) and points to the Messiah who will make Jews and Gentiles one in the beliveing in him, and make all people follow Gods Torah and rejoyce together. NT tells about this Messiah!

  • @LarsHA100 You are 90 % there, all you have to get rid of is the false god = yeshua. How does your mind work, you want to discard everything about christianity, because in your heart you know it is false, but want to keep the biggest idol. Drop the idol and Our Father in Heaven, Our Creator will show you the TRUTH. I know, I have been there. Shalom :)
