For Craig Drayden, it all begins here.

"No one in my family ever finished college. I'm the first.

"After years of dead-end jobs, I wanted something different, and I found the support I needed at a Dallas Community College.

"My teachers went the extra mile to make sure I became a success. Today I'm working on a dual master's degree in health care administration and public health.

"With support from a Dallas Community College, I created my own pattern for success."

  • Boy! You are doing such an awesome job! Now I know that why you were frustrated in the lab! You were really pushing yourself! And look at what the outcome has been. I am so proud to have been able to see this part of your life start to bud. I know it was hard, but you have aligned yourself for other prospects! I know whatever you pursue-you are going to do something both enviable and admirable. Keep going! don't let anything slow you down now! I told my son to take notice!OF YOU! I am next

  • Ok, now that you have done so much academically, I think it is time for you to start having some fun. All you ever do is read books, read books, and maybe drink some water. Maybe that is why your grades were always much better than mine. Okay for the last time I am going to have to call you a party pooper! Every weekend I partied hard and then I had to try and play catch up on Mondays. Well guess what? After learning from you-I take care of my business first. By the way-I passed government

  • Okay, I want to know why I had to here about the television commercial from another source. We have been in class together all of this time and you did not tell me that you were on television. I am going to have to charge you in class the next time you ask to borrow one of my highlighters! Well, if I do that, you probably will not let me see your notes. I am a horrible note taker-too bad I can't affort to make any enemies. LOL! Cogratulations...never seen anyone manage themselves like you.

  • Dr. Sconce, did not want to C U leave. After doing undergrad with her for 2 years and transferring to another school to earn your bachelor's degree! She knew that she was saying good bye to a dynamic and higly driven person. We had a good time in her class and it was hard...but I am glad she made coming to class a challenge, and it was fun 2 C if I was going to be right or wrong! You were the only person I could not out do! I told U I was the smartest person on campus, but I always knew u were

  • You R A success,!I saw you go through so much to get to where you are now. Don't stop-keep going. I have never seen any 1 work on more than 3 degrees at a time and graduate with honors in everything! I do not think I could have been so hard on myself! Maybe that is why U are in the video and I am not. Everyone at the University here in North Texas-is proud! The last semester you were there has left a lasting impression on on us all. We always knew you were going to move on to bigger and better!

  • Hip Hip Hoooray! Your Hard work is finally being acknowledged! I knew you could do it. I am not too far behind you. Everytime I see this clip on television I literally start to scream, I tell my mom, Hey I used to take classes with this guy, and he really did teach me how to be a better student. If only the world knew just how many honor societies you were in! How may degrees you have earned. I know it takes you about twenty minutes to list all of your credentials! Ok I am jealous TOO!

  • You are a SUPER STAR!!!!!!!
