When I had my ratties play around my room they would also go up the my bed pulling my covers and into everything it was a nightmare lol :) You have very cute ratties <3

I am curious as to how you line your shelves with felt? What do you use to keep them attached to the shelves and how do you clean the fleece? Throw into the washing machine? Thanks!

@reganisecstasy No problem! I actually line my cage shelves with towels! I use normal bath or beach towels for the big shelves and hand towels for the smaller shelves. I have gotten mine from target, walmart, garage sales, and second hand stores, so I have never spent more than $2 per towel! To attach the towels, I use binder clips on the front of the shelf. Cleaning the towels is as easy as putting it in the washing machine with my hammocks and other rat laundry. Easy!!!

@SickOmega It does not! I clean the entire cage regularly and then clean the rest of the room. If I was to go three weeks without cleaning, then yes it would smell. As long as you have a regular cleaning routine the room does not smell like rat urine or poop!

@redishsetters I currently have 3 girl rats. In this video you can see all three of my current girls plus my girl Dapple that passed away a few months ago.
