Girsa's music video for "Immigrant Eyes" filmed on Ellis Island July 4th 2009. The young ladies in Girsa play traditional Irish music and perform at events, concerts and festivals. They currently are attending high schools and colleges and come from northern NJ and Pearl River NY. The song was written by Guy Clark and recorded at the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, courtesy of the National Park Service, and was produced by the volunteers of WCTV.

  • Impressive beyond words: beautiful song, uplifting theme, inspired (indeed perfect) location, entrancing performance . . . absolutely outstanding. This production epitomizes what a music video SHOULD be and so very rarely delivers. Thanks to all involved.

  • @RuralRambo WOW. Thanks for the great review !

  • Thanks for your positive feedback. Volunteers produced and edited this video for Girsa. It was a great experience to be at Ellis Island, a place that should be visited. Also, check out the Girsa audio CD which is available on their website ! Happy holidays to all.
