I believe that the main point of this video is that Big Corporation is setting out to destroy Mother Earth for profit and here is a group of Humans coming together who do not want to sit back and watch.... Please don't give in to the old divide and conquer routine-- especially posts from folks whose job it is, is to under-mind the Important Message that this video is trying to get across.

@15Arigold The reason it's called tar sands is that around 90 percent of it is actually comprised of sand, clay and water, while only ten percent is a hydrocarbon liquid called bitumen, which can be extracted and refined into crude oil.

It's funny that he says in order to get tar sands you have to pollute the waters. The truth is that rivers that flow through the area of the oil sands never have been used for drinking because on hot days the sun heats up the tar in the dirt and causes it to run into the water.

We are now spending 5 gallons of oil to find and extract each new gallon of oil — this kind of math only makes sense to the oil company executives that can afford to live in protected enclaves not affected by their destructive policies.

Oh my god, don't people get it? There are alternatives to oil and pipelines ~ they have only been in our lives for the last century, and humans have lived on this planet for hundreds of thousands of years without needing pipelines!!
