GH3 Knights of Cydonia 100% FC PS2 NO HYPERSPEED!!!

o_O!!! missed at least 400 during the last 2 activations (i didn't squeeze the last activation; i went up a note late to ensure i got the chord because i didn't want to mess up there lol) plus ticks from that one sustain i dropped XD...but somehow this is still 1st on PS2 as of when it was done.

The reason the fact that this is without hyperspeed is significant is because on the PS2 version, Knights of Cydonia suffers from horrible lag spikes during the fast strumming when you activate star power. To compensate, most people turn up hyperspeed to 3 or 4 (besides the fact that they see the fast notes better regardless).

However, I took it upon myself to make a vid of myself FC'ing it without hyperspeed, FC'ing through the lag spikes. It may not sound like it makes a big difference, but it does. There are 7 people who have FC'ed this song on PS2 (most of them have used hyperspeed), and like 30 on 360. You basically have to not pay attention to the notes and pay attention to staying in time.

On any other song, I wouldn't point out the fact that there's no hyperspeed, because it usually doesn't make a difference.

However, anyone who knows what's up will tell you that the lag spikes make the PS2 version of Knights of Cydonia harder to FC than the other versions.

for those of you who are wondering, this is much easier to fc than misirlou or six.

I don't know so much about GH, so what's the difference between normal an hyper speed? is more dificult playing with superspeed? thanks!

@leonald423 hyperspeed spreads the notes out so that the visible distance between each note is greater. this makes the chart scroll faster, so that each note spends less time on the screen. some people find it easier to use hyperspeed because they can see the separation between the notes better, while others, myself included, find it easier without hyperspeed because you get more time to see each note.
