With a CISS and buying photo paper on sale I only pay 2-7 cents per quality 4x6 photo depending almost entirely on the cost of the photo paper and sale price (try Staples also for sales on better paper). The ink cost just isn' t any issue with a CISS. Ink qualities do vary though, as does photo paper. Lots of info out there on this with an internet search.

Its utterly amazing that you can make a video like this yet be totally handicapped at something so easy as refilling a catridge. Not to mention why would you do it in your kitchen? do you also fix your car in your living room? Moron

I know this sounds stupid, but I'm not really sure what exactly happened. Just bad luck and too much pressure on the ink needle, I guess. It happened in a split second. I was in complete shock and didn't realize what was going on. A second later I did and couldn't help but laugh. I called for my girlfriend to come and have a look (& a laugh).
The cleaning was a lot less fun though. But hey, that's the price you pay for being cheap!;)
