All about Mainland China's booming music industry. These past couple of years, especially these past 3 years, china has been making huge advancments in the music industry. it's rising as rapidly as the chinese economy :p China has a population of 1.3 billion, and these artists/groups, etc represent only a fraction of the future artists/groups to come.
China is currently holding a talent filled "2009 supergirls" singing sompetition in changsha, Hunan province. This competition is going to release many fresh faces to china's collection of gifted singers. eemedia, (one of the several chinese music companies) is also planning to release the first mainland china girlgroup (prob. composed of 7 members). a new company in mainland china (idol entertainment) is also planning to release a 9 member girlband in august, and 9 member boyband in december.
