  • If were not careful this might be our future

  • Notice how the soldiers who are fighting each other both have the same uniform and weapons. This suggests that both sides were being supplied by same source. They were manipulated from birth to fight one another. Who benefits?

  • @TheEllisonBird Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery though.

  • @Nabelnoir I might at some point. Right now I rather go listen to ManoWar and play some FPS. Brothers of Steel gotta go do some soldiering. :)

  • @starmanskye Understood but War also stops problems. Such as the defeat of the Nazis and the Axis. Diplomacy whichi is an alternative to war is much like humanity. It is not perfect, not always just. Until both can be there will always be the real threat of war. An imperfect solution to an imperfect world.

  • @Foxstab This is why I asked you to look at the wiki article on the movie, because it highlights some things in the movie that the writer (who also wrote Blade Runner) did to make it seem like it was from that universe. Things you might not notice from just viewing it many times. For one, there is a references made to the battle of "Tannhauser Gate and Shoulder of Orion" on a computer display of Tod's battle history. I think you should read it as I cannot go into all the details on here.

  • @Nabelnoir Seriously? The movie made zero reference onto Blade Runner. It was more like Ender's Game, in their "training since infancy" sequence. How silly of the creator. Thanks.

  • @Foxstab No. The creator of the "Soldier" movie tried to tie its storyline into the world of Blade Runner and Kurt Russel and his soldiers were supposed to be the next stage of replicants. You should read the wikipedia article about the movie to verify what I am talking about.

  • Was the Kurt Russel movie "Soldier" inspired by this as well?

  • haha, same fears now about the future as then. We must realize, as wisely promulgated by some eastern philosophies and as stated by a great American president, and I paraphrase, the only thing we need to fear, is fear itself. Fear, wonder, doubt, all just emotions that hinder you now. Take care of the present and the present will take care of the future. My only point is that I see some commentary stating fears. These fears hinder you. Take reasonable action in the now.

  • That wasn't a cigerette he was smoking - not with that trip he took.
