OMG, I know right? Like its not the greatest. I can have a weird style of humour, i won't deny it. But everyone just takes this thing way too literally. haha I usually love getting comments, but when i saw this had a new comment in my email I was like "Ugggggh NOT ANOTHER ONE! DON'T PPL HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO!?!" 'Cause I thought you were going to flip out on me like the others. I'm glad you didn't though... :P

branding people with that term. All the bands people call emo hate the term. Most of them consider themselves punk/rock musicians and find the term "emo" insulting. Same with a lot of those "happy emos" you described, right? Like they're not whiny, depressed, or hateful like the stereotype suggests, they're just kids that like a certain style(fashion + music) and get called "emo" for no reason, right? I don't want to insult them, apparently I am one. This video is making fun of the term "emo" =)

Yeah sorta... :P Like I'm making fun of what people call "emo". I'm making fun of the term and the stereotype. And I guess to an extent I'm also ridculing those that buy into it(the wannabes).

Because like, I hate the word "emo". I find it an ugly inaccurate term. Like most people that get called emo hate it. Its only the posers that try and brag about being "emo". Like I get called "emo" a lot too. I know how that feels. I don't try and be "emo", I'm just me, but people seem to enjoy.......

okay so i guess i agree with you? ive lived with the tag my entire life and i get quite pissed of when people mindlessly go around calling people "emo". now i sorta feel bad so are you supposed to be making light of the kids who are call themselves "emo" then?
