Thought it was time I tried to edit together some of the footage and put it with some music, all the footage is of Department of Environment and Conservation fire crews in Western Australia.

Thanks, I've only just started editing some of the stuff and this was the first go with a sound track, I might have fluked it! but I'll do some more and see how they turn out.

can i remind you that your orriginal comment was that air atack is "how fires are realy fought" professional or volunteer that is still the dumbest thing i have ever herd.

hate to break it to you mate, but not only am i a professional firefighter but also a volunteer firefighter and volunteer surf life saver, so i can ensure you i know exactly what volunteers do and im not criticising their work at all, im criticising the coverage of bushfires and the misguided image that is conveyed about who fights fires and how. so before you criticise learn some facts about the real world and come back to me when you have an educated and imformed viewpoint
