The Saturday night of Art Basel popped with excitement as the city was teeming with marquee events. SocialMiami's Sarah Arison was on the Basel beat attending two fabulous and star-studded events with Bombay Sapphire's Richard McLeod and his wife Karlene.

Soho Beach House marked the locale for the first chic event, as Chloe produced an outdoor fashion show to introduce their Spring 2011 collection. Hosted by our own Sarah Arison, along with Ingrid Hoffman and Vogue's Eva Hughes, the fashion show provided a sexy break from the art-filled week. Attendees included Chloe VP Karen Gregersen and Russell Simmons, who stopped over prior to his Rush Philanthropic event later in the evening.

Following the show, Sarah, the McLeods and Russell Simmons made their way to the Paris Theater for the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series, a nationwide search to discover the next big names in both urban photography and multi-media art.

Bombay Sapphire flowed freely as guests mingled amongst the finalists' art that was on display. After much deliberation, a jury panel which included Rush Philanthropic co-founders Russell and Danny Simmons, the program's national curator Andre Guichard, photographer Eric Henderson and Marc Ecko selected Washington, DC photographer Stan Squirewell and Miami artist Jorge Cavalier as the first ever winners of the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series.
