6/22/09-------Rock Lobster, More Cowbell!
Their concert that night at the Denver Botanical Gardens was easy to love. And the audience, loaded to the end of the grassy bowl with folks old enough to remember the band's first album and those young enough to buy their newest album, Funplex, wasn't looking for more than a good time, a visit to days past and days to come. They surely got that, some rocking "Rock Lobster," a campy bit of "Mesopotamia," a trip down the dirty, dustty trail to the "Love Shack." Ninety minutes of memorable hits!
