I disagree (philfranks84) a day out is what you make of it...for me the Airshow is much more than just about the planes, its the complete social event. I use the event to catch up with friends and family, we are entertained with the displays and there so many stalls to wander around...it can NEVER be described as disappointing or less exciting. as for the burger price...even a Mcdonalds will set you back a fiver these days...you can always take a packed lunch, its the traditional seaside meal!

Maybe you're just in need of a different event to visit as well. Things become dull when you do them to death. Perhaps you should give it a miss and then go back in a few years =)

I would like to state my disappointment regarding The Lowestoft Air Festival, over the last 4 events, the displays have become less exciting, the shows have become less entertaining as every year, the organisers always cut a 'big' part of the display out, and every year, you mess around changing the dates, the show has gone from great, to boring old drivel, and i notice you have got even less flying this year, also, who in the right mind wants to pay £5 for a burger? SORT IT OUT OR LOSE IT!!!!
