Taekyun Slow Girl (TK Battle)

She performs some skills from Taekyun. Taekyun is known as a Korean Traditional Martial Art. It seems like the combination of Taekwando and Ssi-rum(it's also Korean Traditional culture) or Judo.

Tekkyun was created FAR FAR before Tae Kwon Do.

Half of the original kwans were kong soo do [karate] till one day they changed there name and made up the 2000 year old art lie

In fact Tekkyun was a lost sport untill a few years ago a old old man was found that did it a couple years as a youth and restarted it .There was no Tekkyun to form TKD from

Korean type kicks from Hapkido later as it became a sport Flashy-read non self defense kicks were added

Before 1980 there was almost no differance in Shotokan Karate and TKD-becase it came from shotokan and a couple other japanse arts I can trace my Korean Karate linage all the way back to Japan thru Okinawa back to China .

My kwan did not change names or switch to sport Better to say I was alive and remember the change I wasn't at the meeting

This has almost nothing to do with TKD I was there when Kong Soo Do ( Korean karate ) was renamed TKD. Shotokan karate>kong soo do .>TKD.TKD is the sport version of Kong soo do Since 1980 it has absorb some of this and wusu kicks -none of have anything to do with Real fighting.

Taekkyon is often refered to as a precursor to taekwondo... this is simply not true. Taekkyon is a more fluid art form, with emphasis on finess and stability... The japanese banned martial arts in korea and taekkyon went underground. Fast forward, taekwondo arises as korea's form of karate
