This is an example of a politician so idealistic & entrenched in his beliefs that he'll justify or rationalize inappropriate behavior to achieve personal gain. There's far too many politicians & others in position of power & influence that have been brainshwashed by our "higher" educational system that they can't objectively see how their actions are bad. Our schools breed people to accept one viewpoint. The media dumbs people down so they are distracted enough to not notice what's happening.

AIG caused the tax payer huge losses, and yet they pay themselvs bonuses? also when asked during a hearing about the names of the 21 people who ran the cds dept at aig the new ceo refused to give names.
-
did AIG crooks hire Glenn Beck?
-
how many losses were put onto the taxpayer because of the AIG losses?

Beck is a horrible interviewer because neither point was expressed. It was a huge mess that made Glenn Beck very unprofessional. Ugh

babbling idiot, beck wishes George Washington would have approved of him.

wow...and this dude went to Harvard, Yale Law, and Cambridge. they clearly do not accept anyone with an original or creative thought whatsoever. he's like a government drone that just promotes whatever the machine says without thinking critically about anything. apparently they produce obedient individuals who don't challenge the status quo.

This is absolutely beautiful!
That the Left can find Glenn Beck's idea, that America is a country ruled by law, offensive is beyond reprehension.
You need to take a long, hard look in the mirror, lefties!
@Bobortunity
What you fail to recognize is that these people did not cause the problem, they were brought in to fix it after the fact. Part of the deal, approved by the Congress, was if they achieved specific benchmarks, they would receive bonuses. Glenn Beck is correct in his position and Richard Blumenthal is simply capitalizing on the emotions of stupid people who hear AIG and begin grinding their teeth in their hatred.

@thekookaii
Beck does have a point, it is wrong to threaten to take money from AIG execs who where contractually entitled to that money and what you call freaking out is Beck becoming frustrated at Blumenthal dodging his questions in addition to he his politically motivated stunt. Blumenthal is scum and a habitual liar; he was in the past, and he is today. Beck is simply trying to get him to stop lying.
