Family Force 5 are bringing their infectious blend of southern rock straight from Atlanta Georgia. The band which consists of three brothers, Jacob, Salomon and Joshua Olds and Derek Mount and Currin respectively, are currently touring in support of their debut release 'Business Up Front, Party in the Back.' We caught up with the band to discuss their blend of hip hop and rock in what the band likes to call 'Crunk Rock.' "Hey we're the Family Force Five and we're from Atlanta, Georgia. ATL in the house. Yeah baby, we do this brand of crunk rock, we call it crunk rock and people are like 'Hey man what the hell is crunk?' Basically we're from the south and crunk means party so I'd say it's called like...

  • *heck. He deffinitely didn't cuss. Haha

  • woah woah woah! in the kountry gentelmen music video did fatty have braces?

  • "Res-pect fo yo mutha" :D

  • @Reilloc13 It's***. Thanks for chance of correction.

Dang, I wikipedia'd Newsboys just now. They started in 1985. And there are 12 past members. They must've had a lot of variety in sound.

    Cheers dog pound.

  • @mistamontiel I actually like the old Newsboys stuff, but that's probably because I listened to so much of it in the early 2000's and saw them live. I dunno, I think that Family Force 5 is going in a different direction with the term "crunk," and I like that they aren't afraid to mix several genres to make some catchy tunes. Its nice to have come to an understanding on all this. Go with God.

  • @Reilloc13 Most def. Marco Pitruzzella is a sick sick drummer.

I see, hear crunk, and I think of Lil Jon. Seem pretty lame. For religious music I get a kick out of Falling Up and this one song from Forever Changed.

  • @mistamontiel I'm "down" with everything. I'm open and accepting of just about anything, I just don't like people bad mouthing anything for being different or unique; I get a little testy when I see that. The way I see it, who are we small men to judge anyone else? Anyway, I was going to respond with this watch?v=pTOuIe31MaQ

I also enjoy Tchaikovsky, and pretty much anything else with a beat.

  • @Reilloc13 Fuck a atheist..especially devil horns, but you're down with death metal ? Dang, righteous.

  • @mistamontiel Okay, I like this kind of music, and all music for that matter. I was only arguing with you because you were badmouthing Family Force 5.

  • @Reilloc13 watch?v=ewiVo8b6xp0
