You guys that dont know, the Epi Elitist & Elite are MIJ. Great woods, American electronics and same tuners you get on a Gibson. You dont get quite the finish as a Gibson but who cares. They sound great and are as good or even better as a lot of Gibsons and MUCH better than the Epi's now made in Korea. No comparison actually.

Good stuff. I like how your Mom came in checking on you...lol.. Gotta say, love the Epiphones made in Japan. I dont have a Epi or Gibson but i have been looking and i think im going to go with a MIJ Epi myself. Sound great, less money than a Gibson. I care how they sound, not what is on the headstock. I have an old Peavey Strat style that i got cheap on eBay and repleced the pickups and selector switch and it sounds a lot better and total cost for me was around $250.

Hey man, I couldnt help not to notice that in the chorus, you tend to use open G and D chords.
Man, I aint a big guitar player ,but it sounds MUCH cleaner as a bar chord. Third and fifth frets. Try it :)

I've tried both, and I think that the way of playing something is a matter of opinon and tastes.. I prefer playing it with open cords and that's the way slash does it
